We've discussed Old Town Sacramento as one of Marilee's favorite outdoor photo shoot locations in Sacramento, but we haven't really mentioned the trains nearby at the California State Railroad Museum!
The museum has an extensive outdoor area, complete with vintage station platforms, several historically-significant engines, and a bunch of rolling stock, perfect for travel-themed photo sets. Whether you want to be a 1940s soldier girl heading off to war, a vintage lady embarking on an adventure, a steampunk inventor surveying her designs, or something else entirely, CSRM's outdoor train exhibit is a perfect place to shoot all kinds of cosplay, pinup, and narrative photos.
