Last month, we combined 1940s glamour with neo-noir and sci-fi elements to create a Blade Runner-inspired photo shoot for Catherine Morland. The images appear in issue number 28 of Retro Lovely Magazine's Masquerade, a title dedicated to cosplay of all kinds.

The hairstyle (by Marilee) and wardrobe (by Pinup Girl Clothing, Vixen by Micheline Pitt, and Re-Mix vintage reproduction shoes) take cues from Sean Young's character in the 1982 film. Young plays Rachael, a replicant who thinks she's a regular human being. The prop cigarette, new globe lamps, and neon-tinged lighting add to Marilee's versatile "film noir" set to create a moody yet colorful 1980s-does-1940s scene.
