Merri on how she came to work with Marilee...

I found Marilee on Instagram and fell in love with her portfolio of work. I decided to collaborate with Marilee as a way of treating myself. I always loved pinup and vintage, and Marilee’s execution was spot on!

On working together and trusting Marilee...

What I appreciate the most is how Marilee makes me feel at ease and it’s easy to let loose and be yourself around her. She is the photographer I always come back to for that reason. When I just want to shoot and I don’t have a concept in mind, I trust Marilee to do whatever she wants because I know that the results will always be amazing!

Merri's favorite shoot...

There are so many to choose from throughout the years from indoors and outdoors, themed sets to simplistic, but my favorite was our photoshoot with the trains. It was a perfect sunny day with a beautiful location. I had so much fun shooting, and it was a great way to celebrate the end of summer.

On the best things about working with Marilee...

I love getting my hair and makeup done and getting styled by Marilee. It’s so much fun playing dress up and trying different things on before the shoot. It goes without saying, my favorite experiences are whenever I get the chance to work with Marilee.
